El Museo del Prado Possibly the premier tourist attraction of the capital city of Spain, and houses a wonderful art collection that is not to be missed! The museum contains an outstanding portfolio of works by the Dutch, Spanish, German and Italian Renaissance artists. The Prado is up there with the Louvré in terms of top European Museums.
Since its completion in the last 18th century, The Prado has evolved into a manifestation of the wealth of Spanish art. Experience The Alhambra Located in the Granada region, the fortified palace called the Alhambra was constructed by the Moors and is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Sierra Nevada Mountains provide a stunning background to the red walls and towers of the Alhambra, which is a telling legacy of Muslim rule in Spain.
